Four Things Lately

It’s been a really interesting week for me. I have been wearing formal tops and yoga pants and had Skype meetings at home. A lot of behind the scene works. And they are the hardest for me. Exciting but hard. Thinking through the options and making sure the investment is wise and needed. It’s all related to this group of ladies who have inspired me last month (just got the image in the email last weekend so I have to post ;)):

I sat down, started reading this book last weekend and finished it in two seatings. The thing is, the book made me think. If a movie is going to be made out of my life, what is it going to be? Is it interesting enough? Have I made the most on the opportunities that were given to me? Have I taken risks and leaped? Anyway, I have been spending time writing again. Reflecting and writing. Birthing a new project that I have had in mind for almost a year now. Funny, how I read this book (link to Seth Godin) about being prepared to give a 20-minute TED talk. And now this book, making a movie out of your life. Good stuff.

Also, this happened lately. The cherry blossom is finally here! We went to High Park along with a gazillion of other people (I am not even kidding!) and enjoyed the weather. It’s pretty much summer here. We skipped the spring! Hopefully we’ll have a long summer then fall. Yeap, I am thinking ahead of myself again, the snow is coming after the fall!

I promised to share this session with you this week.  I am struggling in writing an introduction to it that I am delaying the appearance of it on the blog. Maybe I should skip the intro and just let the images speak for themselves. I am still deciding… So I am releasing the behind the scene image from the session.

Yeap, that’s Kevin working his magic on a ground that looked like supported by a pole and “some” more. I saw him going there, said my prayer quietly (that it wouldn’t collapse!) and snapped a photo of him. It seems that things we are doing lately involved a lot of trusting ;). Oh by the way, nothing collapsed and we got to relive the images!

I like questions like that. Thanks for giving me something to think about as I drive tonight. Yeah, that last shot looks a wee bit nerve racking.

Brilliant!

Love this post:) And I love the behind the scenes shot!

Wow! The behind the scenes shot is great! – and a bit scary 🙂 – the things we do to get a shot…:)

Wonderful stuff Jenn! Looking forward to seeing the session. Don’t think I would have been as brave as Kevin 🙂
