Simply Bridal on Holiday Engagements

With Christmas just around the corner, the holidays are in full swing with holiday parties, family events and present-buying aplenty! But don’t forget it’s also proposal season, where men and women everywhere pop the question to their beloved.
A whopping 39% of couples get engaged between November and February each year, which means there’s lots of lucky ladies (and men!) out there excitedly showing off sparklers on their left hand from Thanksgiving all the way up until Valentine’s Day.
To mark this year’s engagement season, SimplyBridal takes a look at engagement trends and traditions that have developed. For instance, 77% of grooms still propose on bended knee (sigh!) and on a more modern note, 5% of men are wearing man-gagement rings.
