September 2012: Looking Back Through iPhone Photos

Life has been a whirlwind and we are loving it. It’s funny how we were so shocked to see the date on October 1. But if we were asked what we did for each week in September, we would be able to list them out in details. Everything is crystal clear in our mind. September has been the harvest of what we sow in July and August. Not what we have quite planned but we are so grateful for the opportunities. Somehow in the last week of September all of the doors that we thought were not going to open for another two or three weeks flung wide opened in front of us. I caught my second cold of the month at the end of that week for not taking rest seriously. I learnt my lesson. September has also been a month that we learned a lot about Toronto’s culture and businesses. It’s slightly different and at a much faster paced than Vancouver. And we learned what it is to be called Toronto Wedding Photographers. Such an honor! Here is a glimpse of our life in September:

Princess Margaret Welcome Home Sweepstakes. Gorgeous house! This is the first time for us to be out in Oakville.

We have finally set our heart to a sectional from Urban Barn and increased our seating capacity (and comfort) in our house! 🙂 Guilty as charged, both of us have worked here more than we were supposed to. Grateful for being able to work on two laptops during these times.

First time we tried Five Guys Burgers and Fries! Heard about them last year but haven’t gotten a chance to go until last month. Great burgers! Ohhh and the fries, you gotta try yourselves!

Goodbye Beautiful British Columbia license plate! We are now officially Ontario residents/drivers/whatever you call it. 😉

Locations, locations and more on locations scout. A few places we first visited this month: Leslieville, Corktown, Buffalo NY, and of course, Oakville.

An anniversary treat from my husband from Anthropologie. Love their products as always!

Tried out super delicious Spicy Carrot and Key Lime cupcakes!

A home away from home every Sundays: Vantage Church.

We took a walk one Friday evening and saw this beautiful red tree. The first one to turn all red in our neighbourhood! (By the time I post this blog, there is no green tree left in our neighbourhood. Loving this beautiful fall colour!)

We enjoyed a plate (two for Kevin!) of authentic Indonesian food at a wedding. What a treat!

Our friend of working long hours: Old Town Coffee. We stock up on this until we can justify the cost of having a Nespresso Citiz.

~Share the love,

Jenn~
