Reminiscing This Summer

I was pretty naive to think that I would manage to blog twice a week even during the wedding season. Anyways, I am proud to manage to blog one post weekly this summer. I am posting a beautiful session we did earlier this month with a group of beautiful ladies from Vantage Church, here is a sneak peek:

Yesterday, Kevin and I had a date night. Nothing fancy, we spent time reading and discussing at Chapters. Yeap, we did that. For a date night. 😀 Don’t judge!! We continued to challenge each other to read one book per week this summer. It hasn’t been easy with our schedules and the move, but we are striving to do our best. He took this picture while I was skimming…

We also talked about how this summer has been hard for both of us. His work, the wedding season and the project that we are doing with a couple friends in the states. Our lives pretty much consumed with all these. And walking so much during the weekend and sitting all day long during the weekdays have been hard on my feet and my back. If not because of being trusted to document and create art for the people that we met along the way, I would not do this for a million years. I had hard times keeping my head above the water but every time I wake up in the morning, I am thankful that I got to call this work and loving every minute of the process. I love meeting new people and document this season of their lives. It is really an honour. These people’s lives and their photographs are tagged as work-in-progress this week and we are beyond grateful to have met them.

Beautiful photos and love that you are sharing about your struggles as well as your triumphs! I’m glad that I’m not alone in the sore feet and back department too 🙂

That shot with the paper butterflies is incredibley pretty

Jenn not only are you an extremely talented photographer you are a wonderful and passionate person, that is going to take you far in this life. Remember nothing worth doing is ever easy, and nothing easy is worth doing.

Beautiful photos; I especially like the dance photo with the butterflies!

I really enjoy these “catch up” posts. Your work is stunning. I live the creativity of the overhead shot with those birds and the bride & groom. Beautiful.

Right?! I was starting to do so well with my own blog…and then wedding season happened.
These teasers are GORGEOUS though! I can’t wait to see the full posts soon. (And the couple dancing under the butterflies? Swoon!)
