One Image: While

The daylight saving time and weather change hit me hard last week. I wasn’t sure why recovering from a cold could turn out worst than the cold itself until I found this and confirmed it with my family doctor. Apparently, I managed to pick up 80% of the list and now waiting to feel well enough to get a flu shot this week 🙂

Anyways, I would like to share an inspiration that I found last week:
‘While women weep as they do now, I’ll fight;
while little children go hungry as they do now, I’ll fight;
while men go to prison, in and out, in and out, I’ll fight;
while there is a poor lost girl upon the street, I’ll fight;
while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I’ll fight – I’ll fight to the very end.’

William Booth (1878-1912)

I have to end this with a behind the scene photo of an upcoming blogpost. I have decided that the title of this image is “While” and although the message above is far from this, it  still has a special place in my heart. I am printing and hanging it in my room just so that I remember, we got to work at beautiful places with beautiful people. And sometimes it’s a  fight to get the image that we aspired to produce, in this image: the freezing weather. But what a blessing it is regardless!

I love this image! The out of focus bluffs in the background makes it look like a painting almost!

It is a fight sometimes isn’t it? 😉 But it’s so worth it!

Ps wait until we revert back to regular time, March is the worst for me!

It does look like a painting! The watermark kind of cut the composition of the real image, wished you could see the real one! 😉 PS: yep, agreed! but maybe Stockholm will help you a bit in 2014!!

Ahhh I’ve been the Bluffs only once, such a lovely location! 🙂

Ps. I was thinking about it the other day! They don’t have this daylight saving business in Europe after all 🙂 But then I’d be jetlagged. Can’t have it all! 😉

I totally think this looks like a painting too! Praying you are on the mend my dear friend xx

What a beautiful post of inspiration!

Lovely post. I’m currently suffering from my second cold of the season. Looking forward to that upcoming blog post 🙂

This is awesome Jennifer, love it!

Nice image! I agree, this time change has not been my best friend!

Can’t wait to see the finished product.

Great photo, looking forward to the rest of the blog 😉 I hope you feel better soon!
