July 2012: 4,400 kilometres in summary

Happy Friday! This week after office hour, we have been doing mainly two things: unpacking and assembling furniture. I really love the ikea app, just make our lives so much easier!

I have decided to build a collage of iPhone photos from our trip this month. This is just a summary of the trip, of course, as the whole gallery is a total of 300+ pictures. And, yes, I am that Asian girl who takes pictures of her food but I can’t help it! Before our trips, Kevin always researched for great, famous and unique local food/restaurant/eatery. I secretly think that I love traveling because of the good food. During our drive, we stopped by a few local diners and restaurants and there are two worth mentioning:
1. Tally’s Silver Spoon in Rapid City, South Dakota. Duck, duck, goose on their breakfast menu was so good!
2. Waveland Cafe in Des Moines, Iowa. Hashbrown, hashbrown, hashbrown!

PS: stay tuned as I am super behind in posting a few sessions from my last few weeks in Vancouver. Also, something delicious is in the cooking. The last one, take at least 40 hours of my time every week! So excited! Hope to share it to you in September if not earlier!
