Book Review: Love is the Killer App

We don’t remember how many Tim Sander’s books we have read but this one took a really long time to finish. Not because of the content (it’s gold!), but the timing for starting a book. Summer has been crazy and we really tried to read at least a book every 4-5 weeks. Without further ado:

-Building a business relationship is important for entrepreneurs and Tim has opened our eyes in the importance of voraciously reading books and sharing the knowledge with our peers. We have seen this first hand in so many mentors we have in our lives. One of them is Melissa Jill who actually suggested us to read this book this spring

-Being a “lovecat”. We find this so true and yet so challenging. In the day and age that you think you share too much… Tim challenges us to think about others first and give and never expect a return. Being people who think time is money, it’s not easy for us to allocate time building others. But we know with time, we’re just going to get better.

– Being ready to be rejected. With all of the above put into action, not everyone is ready to receive our love. Don’t be surprised when you got rejected. Keep moving, building and loving.

– A few quotes we love and are best to be shared in their original form:

I starting look for this app at first glance! lol I need to read more too!

I have started that book a few times…maybe one day I will finish it! 🙂

This post definitely inspires me to read more. Thank you!

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll have to add this to my read list.

These are really interesting ideas and the book sounds like it’s a really good read, no matter how long it takes to finish. Thanks for sharing!
