Playa Del Carmen Wedding Photographer // Trash the Dress Photoshoot in Tulum
When Jack and Christy opted for trash the dress after our meeting last year (how is it already last year?!), we got super excited! We searched and searched for a place to do it. And a month before their wedding, we found out about Tulum. This little town is about forty minutes from their resort, Royalton Riviera Cancun. Looking at the map, this location probably appears a lot in Playa Del Carmen wedding photographer work and we are grateful for the opportunity and our adventurous couple!
Christy hired a private for the day, we went for lunch, walked around Tulum ruins and ended up at the beach during sunset.
This shoot is the day after their wedding. It took a lot for them from planning the wedding 24/7 the last week before this shoot and the wedding day itself. All in all, hats off to these two for rocking it and coming home with these beautiful photos of Tulum sunset. Enjoy the photos!
Ps. If you are thinking of trash the dress, you don’t actually need to wear your wedding dress for it! Christy got her dress from ASOS and it was a reasonable priced one and still white! We are also glad that she packed a red dress that brings contrast to their photos in Tulum ruins. Playa del carmen wedding photographer.
It was a busy beach and we have to hide the crowds from our photos:
And then we headed out to the beach which is about twenty minutes walk.
I laughed seeing the following. I was photographing Christy by herself when Jack and Kevin decided to have some fun photoshoot themselves:
Yes, we tell our couples to get fit and run for us during photoshoots 🙂
The things that videographers do to make great footage 😉 Hats off to Derek Chan Films and Cece!
One last one of behind the scene, thank you Kevin for grabbing this. I rarely get to see my couples’ faces when I showed them the magic we created behind our camera.
Share the love,
