Snowpocalypse and Lately
Last Friday, Ontario got a snowed in which we called “Snowpocalypse” or “Snowmageddon”, We needed to pick up a couple things for the business that day and we had to brave ourselves to face the weather. Driving cautiously did the job and we saw so many people got stuck in their cars along the way. No collision but the news recorded 350 collisions happened that day. Surprisingly, business ran as usual. Even Kevin still had to work from home just like another day. Most of our friends still went to work and left at 2PM to accommodate the traffic time to get home. That day we learned it’s all about heart attitude. Though we had to shovel 30+ centimeters of snow before we could get our car out (a good 2 hours for half of our driveway!). Only to found ourselves shoveling again to get our car in an hour later (another hour). Everything was well. We didn’t let the weather put us down or affected our business. I did take some pictures while Kevin was driving which you will see at the end of this blog. Pictures that will forever be treasured as our first winter in Ontario and our first snow storm in life.
This morning, Donald whom I mentioned a couple weeks ago on the blog wrote something very similar which you can read here. Since reading it, this has become our new mantra in life: Things almost always turn out fine.
On that note, I would like to admit that I worried that noone will submit any proposal story when we started this a few weeks ago. And today, I am thankful that the number of submissions we received is three times higher than our expectation. Proposal story is always special to us and tells a lot about the couple. We love stories and we love that people are sharing them with us. I have been pondering the idea of posting some of them here if these ladies are open to that. And for guys, these stories could help creating your very own proposal for your special ladies! I know I would be clueless if I were a guy and had to prepare for the whole thing! Ideas of how people incorporated their dating stories into their proposals will be great inputs. I will be cooking this idea in my brain while editing a winter wonderland session we did last weekend. Stay tune!
Share the love,
Jenn
