Muskoka Engagement Session: Erika + Marcel

This post is just part one of Erika and Marcel’s session. We did not realize we had to do this before. But while putting the post together we couldn’t believe how long a blog of 80 images was! Anyway, we had way too much fun with this couple! And Oskar, the dog, too! Erika and Marcel met at church and let their relationship grew for 6 years before deciding to tie the knot at the beginning of next year. Listening to their dating stories and looking at their engagement session questionnaire, we knew we have to find nature to show their love for outdoor activities and each other. Together, the four of us pictured a hiking trail, a lake and a picnic in the middle of nowhere. We were so glad when they narrowed it down to a private cottage in Muskoka for a two-day-engagement session. These two went above and beyond in their planning from outfits and props to bringing their beloved Oskar along. We were never able to overlook the beauty of nature in every image we encountered but while editing their images we realized this was different.  We overlooked everything else and saw their love in every image. We saw their story evolving.
