Happy Birthday, Kevin!

Today is Kevin’s birthday.

Should I just end the post here and ask you to wish him a happy birthday? 🙂  I know I will struggle to write this post. Not because I don’t know what to write, you know I would always have so much to write about this man. Too much that I don’t know where to start and I wouldn’t know where to end.

For my bestfriend who constantly pushes me to the edge of my dreams to dream bigger, for my partner who carries the burden of my heart and burries them so that tomorrow is a new day, for my love who looks at my work and challenges me to do better every time, for my man who never lets me stay in my comfort zone, I wish you the best year in your life ahead. I promise to dream with you and push you to the edge of it, to carry the burden in your heart and pray with you so tomorrow is a new day to start over, to challenge you not to be complacent and to walk with you out of your comfort zone. To believe in you and to respect you, always. This is just the beginning and the best is yet to come.

I asked him to take a walk and do the above shot while he was calibrating our computer monitor for an album design due that night. In the chill of October, he toughened it up and smiled to me. He always hated being on the other side of my camera but he said okay every time I asked him to. Thank you for doing this. It means a lot. Oh one more thing, to change into those amazing red pants as I requested. 😉  You are simply the best, Kev. I love you.
