A Travel Journal: Chicago in Colour
Kevin and I were in Chicago two weeks ago. We spent most of our time exploring the city, trying out new food (thanks to Yelp!), exploring some more and getting inspired by the beautiful architecture of the city! We took the architectural guided tour and was told that Toronto can be a Chicago in a few decades. Kevin jumped in and said “can be” with a pun! 😉 Seriously, the city is so beautiful that we lost our confidence of our own city to become like one! We hope to come back for a wedding or engagement session in the future. If you know this opportunity, give us a shout!
On that note, what cities have you traveled to and you wished to come back soon?
PS: Have you been/are you in Charlotte, NC? Will be there at the end of this week and would love to know my way around before then 🙂

Love the photo of the ferris wheel! I’ve been to Chicago once and stayed at The Drake. I drove from NJ to LA, California then stayed in Las Vegas for 1 week. I plan to blog about it soon. I loved Reno, NV and Salt Lake City, UT the best for some reason. I liked Vegas too, but I hope someday to revisit all 3! Beautiful photographs! 🙂

Love these shots! It’s so fun to explore a new city. If I had to pick one place to go back to it would probably be Prague…that’s my favorite city:)

I went through Chicago one time several years ago… all I remember was getting stuck in a 3 hour traffic jam and haveing to go to the bathroom so bad I thought I was going to die!!! Would love to go back there with someone that knew Chicago so I could enjoy it! Haha!

Great architectural shots. We always see Chicago in the industrial area but did go to Sheds Aquarium in 2007 during a trip to Michigan. Enjoyed the waterfront very much.
