2013
As I am writing this post, it feels surreal that this is the last morning of 2013. The last 24 hour has been surreal to us anyway. We have partially witnessed a close friends of ours having their first born. This is also Kevin’s first experience witnessing a labor and as our friend held her husband’s hand for strength, Kevin held my hand for mental support. 😉 He now has a new found respect for motherhood. And for I, it’s a new level of respect to motherhood each time I witnessed this.
I have planned to write a post to end this year. However, I didn’t get to it until this morning and my facebook feed was full of a few friends’ 2013 year in review. As I read what they have been through, I noticed how a wonderful year 2013 has been for all of us. Struggle and challenge will always come and go. But there is something beautiful replica watches euroin how we all cope, deal with these and even overcome! There are SO many things that we were thankful for:
The workshop in Charlotte, NC and new found friendships while there // The couples who sent inquiries and wanted to work with us // A flooded basement this summer during the thunderstorm which led to a beautiful space where we filmed part of our vision video // Our couples and friends who spreaded the words of our passion to document the start of a marriage and made this possible for us to continue in 2014 (and 2015! Thank you for trusting us and booking us wayyy in advance!)
At the end of 2012, I had no idea how 2013 would beat the experiences we had that year. Looking back now, it did not disappoint! It was a year of growth and hard work. It wasn’t glamorous but it was outstanding in its own way. Building a foundation is always hardwork and we know we will never regret it.
On the radio yesterday, the host talked about how even and odd years have different effect on people. Some were “luck-ier” on the even than the odd year. I am not sure if I believe this but I know for sure, year after year, we’ll push our comfort zone and get somewhere that we dreamed of or we had never think of. It’ll be an adventure. And I believe every year, even or odd, should be an adventure! Here’s to 2014!datejust replica
